The Great Dividing Range runs parallel to the coastline, splitting the state into two the north known as New England and the South is the Australian Capital Territory of Canberra. Throughout the state there are many beautiful national parks where you can find AustraliaÕs many different animals and bird life.
Sydney is the country's largest city a centre of banking, and home to the most instantly recognisable man made attractions. The famous Harbour Bridge which is possible to climb to the top as part of a group and the views from the top are nothing short of stunning. The Opera House, which you can watch one of the 3000 annual concerts and plays performed and will give you the chance to hear how its unique shape gives it excellent acoustics, These two stunning attractions are built up around the large natural harbour. Darling Harbour was redeveloped during the 1980s, and was transformed from a run down industrial eyesore to a modern tourist village, with plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as a few museums including the Powerhouse Museum, and the Sydney Aquarium. There is also an IMAX cinema, which shows 3D films on its vast screen.
