Your personal details:
In
order to provide you with the best possible service, we will collect
information about you if you request a quotation or wish to proceed with a
sale.
The type of information we will collect includes:

address
telephone number
email address
credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your
explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date;
if you wish to check or update the information that we hold about you, please
email us. Any inaccuracy that is our error will be deleted or corrected
promptly. If you have made an error in the information supplied we will do our
best to amend the details, however we may require verification of the
correction and occasionally an administration fee may apply.
Information
about you and your vehicle rental will be held by Holiday Cars Direct Limited
and the suppliers for the purpose of the vehicle rental. The personal
information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal
security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. We can assure you
that it is our policy to never pass your details to another trader.
Your e-mail details:
When you visit our site we do log your
domain name but we don't log your e-mail address unless you provide it
as part of a sale or request for information. Your e-mail address will be used
only to forward details relating to that specific sale; no email will be sent
in the future unless you have given us your consent. |
Security:
We use a GeoTrust SSL certificate to ensure secure
transmission of your information. This means that all information you send to
us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted. If any other internet user
intercepts the communication he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted
(garbled) form. Certificate technology allows us to decrypt the information,

For further protection, no credit card data is held on our site, so your credit
card information cannot therefore be accessed by any third person - including
ourselves, as all credit card processing is direct with the charging company,
SECPay Ltd, who are authorised by all the major banks and have been security
approved by them. You can check their website at

When your card
payment has been authorised by your bank, our website receives an email
confirmation from SECPay. We in turn confirm this to you by email which does
not show any part of your credit card information. |
If we intend to transfer your
information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will obtain your
consent first.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of
visitors to our site. This can include using a 'cookie' which would be stored
on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening.
The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you
